Focus Group Discussion: Formulating Policy to Enhance PSR Program in Context of Acceleration, Benefit, Continuity, and Sustainability

On April 22, 2025, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was held at Hotel Le Meridien, Jakarta, with the theme "Formulating Policy to Enhance the PSR Program in the Context of Acceleration, Benefit, Continuity, and Sustainability." This event brought together various stakeholders from relevant ministries, farmer associations, academics, and palm oil industry players to discuss strategies for strengthening the Smallholder Oil Palm Replanting (PSR) Program. The discussion focused on the current state of PSR implementation, the issues and challenges faced by each stakeholder, and strategies for optimizing the program. Essentially, this FGD is expected to produce policy recommendation formulations that can drive the improvement of the PSR Program's achievements, while also strengthening the benefits and sustainability of the program in the long term, including efforts to expand the application of sustainable palm oil practices.
