IPOSS Holds FGD on Governance & Trade of Used Cooking Oil (UCO)

IPOSS on February 4, 2025, organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme "Formulation of National Policy on Governance and Trade of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) in Supporting the Renewable Energy Program in Indonesia" at the Le Meridien hotel, Jakarta. The FGD aimed to deepen and confirm the results of the IPOSS and Berka Strategika study on used cooking oil or UCO, involving respondents from Household UCO Producers and Business Actors from six provinces, DKI Jakarta, East Java, North Sumatra, South Kalimantan, North Sumatra, and North Sulawesi. The FGD was attended by parties related to the governance and trade of UCO, ranging from the government, industry, collector communities, academics, to economic experts.
